ABOUT US:
Larry & Zan met at Great Expectations in 1988.  He had four children ages 6-17 and Zan had one son aged 14.  They successfully combined their children and raised them here in beautiful Westlake Village putting all five through college, which was a challenge in itself! Their efforts and nurturing paid off with five fabulous adults.  Two are married and have given them 5 grandchildren, two living in Mesa, AZ and three in San Francisco....with the addition of our newest granddaughter, Coco, born 7/10/09.  

Zan, having been a successful court reporter, retired due to repetitive stress challenges and changed careers to become a real estate assistant here in Westlake Village after moving back from Arizona where they spent five years.  As a court reporter with national certifications and a 98.5% accuracy rating, she specialized in realtime captioning for the hearing impaired.  Her listening skills and attention to detail are superb.  Since Larry had done all of the proofing of her transcripts, they knew they worked well together and feel that their combined knowledge & experience, together with their love of helping others, lends itself nicely to real estate.  In December of 2008, Zandria completed the National Association of Realtors ABR designation, certifying her as an Accredited Buyer's Representative.

Larry, a licensed architect for 25 years, brings a very unique perspective to the business in helping buyers & sellers reach their desired goals.  As a past Director of Facilities, Design & Construction for the non-profit Kaiser Permanente in Southern California, his architectural as well as management skills were put into play meeting the needs of the members, physicians and staff; something that required great negotiating abilities.  Larry was a Realtor in Scottsdale, AZ.  Larry has also obtained his SRES Seniors Real Estate Specialist Certification from the California Association of Realtors:. Zan, a member of the original cast of the non-profit musical show, Up With People, traveled as their pianist all over the world staying with host families.  The group, still going strong, focuses on the ability of each student to connect with others from different countries, to develop a global perspective, social responsibility and contribute positively to the community not only through community service, but through their original music.  She fondly refers to it as her "international education," so much so, that she and Larry donate a portion of their commissions to the organization.
